Review: A Man and His Cat

A sweet middle-aged man is looking for someone to love and it could just come in the form of a chubby cat at the local pet shop. The cat in question has been at the shop since he was just a baby. He's watched other pets get adopted one by one while he was left behind. He feels like he's destined to be unwanted and unloved. That is until he's adopted by Mr. Kanda.

Since losing his wife, Mr. Kanda has felt lonely, but adopting a cat had always been her dream. He names the cat Fukumaru, which means joy. Together, they will learn to heal from their shared loneliness and discover that it's never too late to find happiness.

This manga is lighthearted, emotional, and funny. If you have a cat, or any pet, you’ll fall in love with this story. Mr. Kanda and Fukumaru’s adventures are heartwarming and cozy, a testament to the bond between humans and their pets.
