Reading Stats

Not too bad considering I was reading out of my comfort zone for this challenge.

Books Read in April 2025

Capturing the Devil by Kerri Maniscalco ★★
A slow and tedious end to this series and I was so excited for the World Fair aspect.

The Last One by Rachel Howzell Hall★★
An interesting story but I hated the main character and how everything was handed to her while she complained.

The Personal Librarian by Benedict and Murray ★★★
This was an engaging story about a woman named Belle that I had no idea existed.

The Witches Are Coming by Lindy West  ★★
A collection of critiques on modern American where Lindy calls out the bad stuff with humor.

A River Enchanted by Rebecca Ross ★★★★★
Finally a book that I loved! It had interesting magic, story, and people.

The Love Simulation by Etta Easton ★★★☆☆
A vice principal needs money to get a new library for her school, so she signs up to do a Mars simulation over the summer. The person that she hates and loves is there too.

Rock Paper Scissors by Alice Feeney ★★★★
I can see why this was in the buzzy books

May TBR

Goodreads started a new challenge that lasts until June 30th. I already unlocked one just by reading 2 books already! The mystery ones will unlock on May 15th so, I plan to make my true TBR after that. For now, I'm going to take a short break from TBRs and read whatever I think looks fun or interesting.
