Monthly Wrap Up for December 2024

This is something I saw Jana doing from Reviews From the Stacks and Pam from Read Bake Create (and so many others) and I wanted to try it out! I read a lot of books and enjoy talking about the ones I really love. This shows a little bit of that side of me.

December was a whirlwind of activity, leaving me in a bit of a reading slump, unfortunately. However, I finally managed to tackle a few books my friends have been bugging me to read.

The month was packed with a few larger library events and unexpected changes to my personal holiday plans. I had extra events with friends and family that either required a lot of work or were last minute additions. While it was hectic, I have loved catching up with them and don't regret how I spent my time and effort. I have just read a bit less this month so it'll be a shorter post.

Reading Stats

I use Stroygraph and Goodreads to track my reading. Since I mainly read audiobooks, I make it a point to log when I start and finish each book. I rate my books on Goodreads and love all the stats that I can see through Storygraph.

I have only read audiobooks this month so I don't know where the 844 pages is coming from. My average rating for this month was actually 3.75.

January TBR

The library I work at has a winter bingo challenge where the goal is to read 25 books in January and February. That's a lot of books and already a quarter of what I try to read every year. Next year, I will be setting my goal of 110 books. I can reach this number easily by starting off with a whopping 25 books.

There are so many books I'd like to read next month but I'll try to start with these.
